When I read about new Google’s Desktop features yesterday, I thought that it would use some serverless p2p protocol to share documents and allow a “clustered” search along the user’s various computers.

Well, I was plain wrong: It seems that Google will store a copy of your data in its servers.

The
Electronic Frontier Foundation is warning about this, no so clearly stated, fact.

What’s next? How will they grant my privacy rights in their servers and in the way to/from my computers?

My god… we’ve sold our privacy at a sooo cheap price…
