Me ha hecho gracia porque justo estaba leyendo el viernes un número atrasado del Architecture Journal. Cito:

MDA focuses entirely on transformation. From the platform-independent model, we push a magic button that generates the platform-specific model. From there, we push another one to generate the code. Computer-aided software engineering (CASE) demonstrated in the late 1980s and early 1990s that there are no magic buttons. MDA is trying to go one better than CASE by relying on two of them.
