I don’t really get Sun’s Java6beta2 announcement:

Why does Sun add another yet another spoon of complexity sugar to the JDK?
Who did decide it? Where’s the JCP (Java Community Process) in this kind of decissions?
Do they plan to include an IDE? OpenOffice to improve documentation of software? A browser? An umbrella in case it rains?
